Dr. Amberene Kara was born in Lethbridge and raised in Calgary. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with distinction from McGill University, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of British Columbia. Now back home in Calgary, Dr. Kara enjoys working with both adults and children. She strives to provide a high standard of care in a patient and understanding manner. Dr. Kara believes in active listening, comprehensive treatment planning, and evidence-based care to help her patients achieve their oral health goals. Dr. Kara provides all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in providing orthodontic care with Invisalign. Aside from her passion for dentistry, Dr. Kara enjoys travelling, biking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and son.
